AN EXCERPT FROM THE OWL OF THE SIPAN LORD

“All right, what happened this time?” Bill asked. He saw Cord, Ben and Harry have rope burns on their hands. Percy and the girls seemed OK, but Clare looked like she was near death. “Well, red eyes was there, again,” Ben said. “The ground opened up under where Cord was standing. It was a good thing Harry thought to bring a rope. I swear he’s psychic or something. He and I pulled Cord out of the hole.” “Percy tried to keep the wall from falling,” Dana said. “But it started rocking back and forth so hard it was bound to fall. Clare is in shock, I guess.” Bill looked into Clare’s eyes and sees the pain she must have from remembering when Martin died that same way.
This is a story about a widow who, with the help of an owl and blue-eyed spirit, solves her husband’s murder, and a 1300-year-old mystery in Peru
