CHARACTER CONVERSATION: SHEILA AND JAX ENFORCER BOOK 4 PRINCES OF PROPHECY

“Suit yourself princess, but my patience only goes so far.”
I look over my shoulder. “I don’t see why your shortcomings are my problem,
but thanks for the heads up.” As I’m reaching for the door he spins me
around. I reach for my gun but his hand covers mine before I pull it.
“I’ve watched you long enough to know your reactions, Sheila.”
I spin and kick up then punch him in the stomach. He doubles over. “I guess
you missed one.” I walk through the door and up to my room wondering what
the fuck is up with Jax.
