This story was a very good one–the characters were more than mere names on a page; they were people the reader could visualize and even relate to. What begins as an intra-office tryst takes several twists and turns, leading to a shocker of an ending! Just when you think you can guess what’s going to happen next, the author “zigs” instead of “zagging,” keeping the reader constantly on her toes. This piece of erotic fiction was engaging from beginning to end, and I personally love that the author dared to be dark.

Fragile Brilliance: A Ronan Mccullough Novel, a 2016 Finalist for the Lords of Discipline Thriller Prize, is the third published novel by Eliot Parker. As the author introduces the characters, setting, and events it is evident right away why. This novel begins as the older haggard police sergeant, Ronan McCullough, and his devilishly handsome life partner Ty a young ER nurse are getting ready for their shifts. It then follows as the Charleston police sergeant happens upon an assault that is taking place of a young man and is also brutally attacked and nearly killed by the assailants. The author brings to life the events, and I even found myself wincing in pain as he described the physical and emotional toll of the attack and its aftermath. Because he refuses to sit back and let others pursue the perpetrators, both his personal and professional relationships are tested to their limits. Before it’s over everyone in his life is in danger. This novel has lots of emotion, danger, and heroism throughout. This cop shows what dedication and perseverance are all about. Thanks to flawless editing, along with the excellent writing and use of language by the author this book grabs your attention and doesn’t let go!

This is not a horror story although there are some moments that are just plain weird. It made me wonder what I had gotten myself into reading the weird parts at three am but face it I was hooked. I cried, I cringed and did a happy dance at the end. I will give this one 5 snoopys doing a happy dance and recommend it to fans of Mr. Henry as he knows how to write ‘em!!!

Templeton House on Butcher Harbor will leave chills running up and down your spine, not to mention the goose bumps that will go along with them. Ghosts and the paranormal have kept residents tied to the house for centuries. Clair grew up living there but left town for New York to become a fashion designer with her friend Grace the moment she graduated high school. After the house took her father now it is trying to take her mother Elizabeth. Clair and Grace return with a group of male friends after Elizabeth is found almost dead in the house and is hospitalized. With no place else to stay, the group must spend the night at Templeton House. A hurricane is brewing. Oh boy! This is not good. Now, Clair and her friends must rid Templeton House of its ghost and they are terrified. You will not believe the scares she and her friends encounter. This book is written with terrific skill and emotion. Every scene is riveting! Lisa Lewis Moon has the gift. Read it!

The plot is suspenseful with unpredictable twists and turns. I like how evil has followed Kate across the continents. This thriller leaves the reader wanting more.

A great conspiracy tale for our times! SUPPRESSION BY PS WINN

All Dan Warren wanted to do was make the world better simply by dealing with pollution. His invention should have made it big but didn’t because people in high places didn’t want it out there. Years later, a young reporter wants to get the widows side of the story but again it gets squashed. This is based on a true story and the author has done a wonderful job portraying the story as fiction. I give Ms. Winn praise for her telling it in her way. I swore at the corruption and sadness of the characters who were robbed of an opportunity to improve the world with a simple invention. 5 stars given for great writing.
